My cat has kidney disease and the vet gave him vaccines which had a negative reaction. Help?

My cat has kidney disease and the vet gave him vaccines which had a negative reaction. Help?My Cat has kidney disease. He has a pretty big stone in his kidney and I have to give him an IV everyother day. A vet gave him two vaccines which my cat has had a reaction to. Another vet said he should of never received those shots due to the disease. He now is not active, barely eats and pulls his fur out by biting or licking.

OHH! my cat does the same fur thing!! I wonder if she has a kidney disease.. :( I think she actually pulls her fur out because she is traumatised... She was abused, then abandoned, then became pregnant and had kittens, and then was brought in by a shelter, and then adopted by another family who neglected her, and when she scratched their baby they asked us to take the cat, so we did because i love her. She used to be very skinney but now she is fat. And, she would pull out her fur a lot...but then it stoped when she was extremely loved by us...but now it comes and goes in phases...

My cat does it on the under side of her fore-arms, the inside of her legs, and her tummy up to and around her nippies. Does your cat do it on the inside of his paws, or like on the outside too?

I would bring your cat to like 10 vets, and if they all say he should not have gotten those vaccines, sue that other vet who gave him those medecines.

i hope your cat gets better and those vaccines get out of his system...

i dont know but a good idea would be to put it to sleep (kill it) because the way it sounds, he is suffering.

It's not a good thing...My cat had the same problem and did not live very long....If the cat is not eatting or taking care of it's fur... The time maybe here to but it down..
Sorry, but it's for the best.....

I had a cat that went into renal failure. It was a very horrible thing to deal with, I went through the IV bag and all for a few months. He hated being stuck and tried to run away a bunch of times. I have a lot of guilt about not putting him down sooner. I really kept him alive for me not him, he kept trying to leave (to die I think). Oh, it was horrible.

There is however a great site that I used when I went through that and I recommend checking it out. http://www.felinecrf.com/

Good luck, I am so sorry that you and your cat are having to deal with this.
