When the great race for swine flu vaccine commences, will you remember you don't need to get a vaccine if...?...you realize the whole invention of the "threat" has been overblown right from the start to make the public panic and believe a vaccine is mandatory to prevent contracting a new strain of influenza that is somehow more deadly than other types?

The truth is H1N1 has already shown to be no more deadly, no more contageous, no more a threat, no more a pandemic than any other flu virus out there. Yet, you see the media keeps plugging stories, keeps confusing people about how deadly it is, misquotes so-called "experts," keeps trying to predict a future disaster, etc. If someone thinks I'm wrong, and you have some form of information to the contrary, tell me how you know your source of information was not planted by the pharmaceutical company soon to sell millions of vials each containing what is supposed to be a "swine flu vaccine"--a product that if they do not sell will be profit down the drain.

Even the Centers for Disease Control website has ridiculously conflicting info. From the CDC:

"Are there human infections with novel H1N1 virus in the U.S.?
Yes. Human infections with the new H1N1 virus are ongoing in the United States. Most people who have become ill with this new virus have recovered without requiring medical treatment. "

--Then they say:

"While the disease seen in the current novel H1N1 flu outbreak has been mild for many people, it has been severe and even fatal for others. There is no way to predict with certainty what the outcome will be for an individual..."


--getting scarier. Finally, they say this:

"The information analyzed by CDC supports the conclusion that novel H1N1 flu has caused greater disease burden in people younger than 25 years of age than older people. At this time, there are few cases and few deaths reported in people older than 64 years old, WHICH IS UNUSUAL [my emphasis] when compared with seasonal flu. However, pregnancy and other previously recognized high risk medical conditions from seasonal influenza appear to be associated with increased risk of complications from this novel H1N1. These underlying conditions include asthma, diabetes, suppressed immune systems, heart disease, kidney disease, neurocognitive and neuromuscular disorders and pregnancy."

--that means ultimately there is only a small portion of the population truly "at risk" for deadly effects from influenza, and it's not just "swine flu." But this is nothing new. Before anyone started to panic about "swine flu" the CDC reveals, "Each year, in the United States, on average 36,000 people die from flu-related complications and more than 200,000 people are hospitalized from flu-related causes...Over 90% of deaths and about 60 percent of hospitalization occur in people older than 65." http://www.cdc.gov/H1N1flu/qa.htm

So when the great race to get a swine flu vaccine commences, will you understand you more than likely don't "need" it, and the whole invention of the "threat" has been overblown right from the start to make the public panic and believe a vaccine is somehow mandatory?

I don't do vaccines. I got the flu shot once. instead of getting a tiny case of the flu, I got it full force. Bullshit. Just like the Cervical Cancer Vaccine, they don't tell you that it gives you a higher risk for other cancers.

I'm against vaccinations, except for what you must have to attend school (Hepatitis, etc).

I agree, its just a media scare. Anything for attention and to get the channel more views.

Yes I have never heard so many contradicting stories about this flu.It kills old people,no it kills young people.no no it kills people who seem healthy.No only those with underlying health problems.
Well as with any flu if you get it you should stay at home and rest.I heard of a YOUNG MOTHER WHO GOT IT AND SHE WENT ON VACATION.Went to a water park,shopping,dining out and then she came home and finally went to the Dr.Of course she did not make it.Can you imagine doing all of that while being sick with fever and body aches as she had before she went on that trip.I have a sister in law who is like that.She gets sick and then she will get out and visit others while sick.I have had to tell her to stay away while sick.I believe that is why they are pushing this shot.People can sometimes be not so bright.
