My Little poodle has kidney fail er is there anything that anyone can tell me that will help her?She is going to the Vet. All the Vet is doing for her is injecting her with water with sodium chloride. She will not eat we have to force her to eat.
She is 7 years old and weights 16 lbs. Please Hepl If Can! Thank You,

Unfortunately there is very little anyone can do for dog who is experiencing kidney failure. One thing that may help in addition to what the vet is doing is to put her on a very low protein diet. Science diet offers one, its canned and not very appealing to most dogs, but it does help a little.
When anything is experiencing kidney failure, they are really suffering, feel bad, somewhat like you would feel if you had a severe case of the flu. You may have to give some consideration to how much the dog is suffering with little or no hope of recovery. Talk to your vet about the options, but do not keep the dog alive and in pain for your own comfort. Its hard to give them up but sometimes its the right thing to do.
