My boston terrior is apparently capable of flying and got into and ate a pound of snack mix containing yogurt covered raisins, mixed nuts, chocolates and chocolate covered espresso beans. This was at about 8 this morning and she is currently acting normal, no vomiting or malaise and is urinating when she goes outside. We are watching her closely, how long should I watch before i can be sure she is in the clear?

yes its true and if this were my dog, i would have some blood work done on her and possibly have her on iv fluids to flush the toxins out. by the time your dog is showing symptoms of renal disease, the kidneys have been permanently damaged.

if your pet eats something that you are unsure of give her a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide. this will cause her to vomit up the nasty stuff after a few minutes. dont feed your pet things you doubt and yes raisins will hurt.
