If you have a kidney disease is it bad to drink alcohol?

If you have a kidney disease is it bad to drink alcohol?Okay so I've had a kidney disease for a year and I havn't had any problems since. My doctor says I am healthy and have very good blood pressure. I have a party Friday with Alcohol and I'm not sure if I should drink? If I can though I kind of want to drink alotttt. I am on Enalapril right now and i was wondering what the deal is. I have had a glass of wine here and there. I Want to know how much Alcohol I should drink.
I have gotten many mixed answers
I would like other people to put in their
imput on this. PLEASE!!!

You should ask your doctor to be sure , good luck to you !

You shouldn't mix your meds with alcohol, it might cause the opposite effect and further damage your kidneys. A kidney disease should be taken seriously. And if you'll drink, just skip the meds ;)
