What are the symptoms of Kidney stones?I am thirsty & hungry all the time... Having period like cramps in the Lower abdomen which comes & goes ( Not unbearable ). Lower back / spine aches which comes & goes. Some times feel like throwing up after meals but have never done it so far.

get an ultrasound scan for kidney stones. symptoms tend to vary, you will have a back pain akin to someone taking a phillips screwdriver to your lower flank, which is followed by urine blockage and further discomfort. these are the phases when the stone is at the ureter. In your case, if you do have a stone (get it checked fiorst), it maybe travelling.....
get a lower KUB x-ray and complete ultrasound scan. In the meanwhile, have a good dose of cranberry juice, plenty of water
avoid coffee, cigarettes, alcohol (yes even beer) and any form of red meat and cheese.

If you had any kidney stones you would already feel them by now. The symptoms are allot of pain in the lower back area radiating back and forth with with a fever almost like vomiting and/or nausea. Since people are different so are the symptoms these are the ones you can almost be sure of. Please make sure that there might be a presence of blood in the urine too. Don't you go to a type of therapy with some others every morning during the week? Might be an interesting question to ask tomorrow morning. Since I'll be going to an extra early one so that this IV can run tomorrow before lunch I thing I'll ask Wes. Have a good breakfast. Good luck and God Bless

My neighbor has had kidney stones several times. She is in excruciating pain and vomits. When you have one generally it is a steady pain and doesn't come and go.
How are your bowels working? If you are not regular, this could explain some of the lower abdomen pain and the lower back pain.
Being hungry and thirsty all the time is a sign of diabetes. Monday morning call your MD and make an appointment.
