Are you diabetic, I cannot make the diagnosis on one blood sugar reading. Is your kidney function normal. If the albumin in urine is high it maybe associated with early diabetic nephropathy or other rare kidney disease. in general a class of medications called ACE inhibitors help to decrease the spilling of albumin into your urine. Lisinopril is a generic that you can get for 5 dollars a month at certain stores with a prescription. It may help to lower blood pressure but is also used in various kidney diseases to help reduce albumin loss in the kidney with is a sign of kidney damage.

A result of 30 - 299 mcg/mg may mean your kidneys are starting to become damaged.
You will need more tests must be done to confirm a problem. The test will also show how bad any kidney damage may be.
Most often the problem is caused by diabetes. Higher levels of albumin may also occur with:
* Certain immune disorders
* High blood pressure
* High levels of cholesterol and triglycerides
Consult a nephrologist (Kidney specialist).

You really need to give us a lot more information before anyone here could offer their opinion with any degree of safety.
Advising without that is downright dangerous and no one should attempt it.

Your best plan on the very little info you have given is to go to your doctor and have some investigations done to establish the root of your problem.
Your doctor will advise you on which specialists you need to consult....saves you running round in circles to the wrong ones:-) and will get you a faster diagnosis

I hope you get that done and return to a healthy life.
