Renal failure question?ok so i've heard that a metallic taste in the mouth is a symptom of renal failure? is that true and if so do u always have that metallic taste or how often does it happen?

Some people do.
But believe me is not the main symptom.
Clear urine that doesn't change colors; swelling ; fatigue, etc...are more common symptoms.

Metallic taste may be a sign of renal failure however it may also be due to certain medications. Metallic taste is not a criteria for renal failure so it does not have to be present in order to be diagnosed with renal failure.
