Please help!!!!!! What doctor is supposed to help my chronic pain from pelvic inflammatory disease?Im a 19 year old female who has been living with pelvic pain for 4 years. I was diagnosed with PID a few weeks ago when my pain got unbearable and i was admitted for a kidney infection. SInce my pain has not lessened but got worse. Every doctor has sent me to another doctor saying that they cant give me anything more then precocet or loratab which isnt helping. The pain clinic i went to said that they could only give me percocet or loratab and that they werent supposed to control my pain but that my obgyn was but he sent me to the pain clinic. The pain got worse friday and i was admitted for gallstones and gallbladder infection because my white blood cell count was still have like it was with the "kidney infection". My gallbladder was taken out and now not only do i have the same pain i also have the pain from the surgery and pain in my back worse on my left side and pain up my right side of the back up into the shoulder. I just want a normal life and short acting pain meds arent working. Why wont they put me on an extended relief med? Im in excruciating pain and the surgeon refused to give me anything but 30 percocet 10's. Why do the doctors not care that i lay down all day crying and j ust want a normal life! They also think i have endometriosis which i was supposed to have diagnostic laproscopy to diagnose it this thursday but now that will have to be postponed. Please help me!
I went to the obgyn he told me to continue with my appointment with the pain clinic. When i went to the pain clinic they told me the obgyn should control my pain.

You need to go to a pain management clinic.

Your OB/GYN is trained/educated in all your "downstairs" issues. This includes PID. There are various types of doctors each specializing in certain heath areas. Its not that they really don't care they just don't specialize in that type of thing. You really need to see your OB for your PID issues and all the kidney/gallbladder issues your reg. physician. deals with.

Inflamed and painful kidneys from diabetes. avoid sugar and a high carb diet. Get the a1c test.
diabetes is the most common cause of kidney failure.
