my gfr is 59 my creatinine ser is 0.80 I was told I have a unknown kidney disease by my gyn? I do have HBP?I have been to several kidney dr.'s and was told I was fine? I do have too much protein in my urine. 24 hr. catch is 311.0.

Last year I found out that I had chronic renal failure. A gfr below 60 is a strong indication that your kidney function is impaired. You need to seek medical advice from a good nephrologist (a doctor specializing in kidneys) and a nutritionist. Kidney disease is a progressive disease and only gets worse but can be managed if caught in time. Good luck.
