low temperature, low blood pressure, is it normal?Okay, so my temperature is consistently low around 96-97 where the normal is 98.6. My blood pressure is very low, I don't remember the numbers. My legs and arms are always falling asleep and it's really annoying. If my temperature and blood pressure are below normal, than doesn't that mean that I'm not normal?! Whenever I go to the doctor they comment on my stats, and I ask if there's something wrong with me, and they say "oh, no, it's fine." It just doesn't seem right to me. I'm always sick, I'm fat even though I eat very little, I get cold when everybody else is warm. I understand that it's better to be under rather than over because high blood pressure damages your kidneys and stuff, but the health professionals my entire life just dismiss it as if it's nothing. It must be something!

My daughters and I (50, 21, 20) have normal temps in the 97 range. Our blood pressure is usually 110/60 or so. We do feel the cold a little more than people with normal reads. Jumping into cold water chills us more. We have cooler hands and feet. This is not really a problem, just what is normal for us.
If you smoke, stop. You will notice that your hands and feet warm up quite a bit.

Your temp is ok. 98.6 is only an average. My wife and I are both 97 normally.
Your Blood pressure numbers are important info here. You told your doc about your arms and legs?
my blood pressure usually runs on the low side too despite me being about 30lbs over weight. 117/70 is my normal with a 67 pulse rate and about a 97 blood oxygen level.

Well, the wife has low pressure also and she's always cold. I did research on it and what I found is you people have a longer lifespan! No treatment for it. We usually walk for 30 minutes every day trying to keep the belt line smaller.
