High Blood pressure meds. Should I switch to generic?I am currently taking Avapro for High blood pressure due to PKD(Polycystic Kidney Disease) but this medication is expensive ($ 70) and not covered by my insurance. Should I switch to a cheaper generic? I've read that Avapro is good for people with kidney problems. should I switch anyway?

It's best to check with your physician regarding this. One should not fool around with blood pressure medications

Hi yes I would change to the cheaper generic medication as well. I would also go to this website the information there maybe of some help to you as well.
