Kidney Disease: Foamy Urine?

Foamy Urine? So my urine has been frothy for about 2 months. When I wake up in the morning and go to the bathroom it is totally frothy and all I can see in the toilet is a thick layer of bubbles, and throughout the day as I drink more water it seems to become more normal, though still rather frothy on occasion.

I thought it may be kidney disease, soI went to the doc. They performed a urinalysis and said it was fine. They also did some sort of blood test that checked for problems with kidney/liver/blood sugar/electrolytes/etc. and said I was fine.

So should I still worry? I work out heavily and consume a lot of food (and a few natural supplements), so maybe that is the cause?

I'm a bit of a hypochondriac, as you can tell :)

I wouldn't be too worried at all. Mine does the SAME thing sometimes. Just keep drinking water. I know mine's not as foamy when it's clearer. But anyway, it's not abnormal at all.

I believe it's ammonia being excreted from you body from your kidneys. Certain foods and supplements may add to it. Staying hydrated will help. Also, a sign of kidney problems is dark urine. So if you start having really dark urine that means there's an infection.
