How does coffee affect kidney function?

How does coffee affect kidney function? And how is it different from other beverages when the kidney is filtering and reabsorbing it?

Also, is it possible if a test subject who drank 12 cups of coffee between 6 am to noon, is it possible to know the rate at which the kidneys were filtering and reabsorbing the coffee in each hour? I need to create an experiment, thanks.

coffee contains a drug known as Caffeine. A side of effect of Caffeine is frequent urination. When you urinate, what you drink has been filtered by the kidneys. So drinking Caffeine puts added stress onto the kidneys.

Firstly it effects your liver then your kidney. Liver tries taking away the bad stuff like caffeine. Because kidney stays in your system for a very long period of time your kidney function is constantly taking good nutrients out of it? I suppose.
