By those words that you have used I assume you do know the basics.

erythropoietin is created in the kidneys and tells the bone marrow to produce red blood cells. Without that you are anemic.

RBC stands for Red Blood Cell count.. of course RBC breakage leads to anemia.

I am not exactly sure what you mean by waste persist in kidneys. Kidneys eliminate waste from the body.
