Have earthquake victims dug out after a couple of weeks suffered kidney damage?

Have earthquake victims dug out after a couple of weeks suffered kidney damage?Due to the prolonged period of dehydration, will they have long term health problems due to kidney damage? Or, once they are re-hydrated, do the kidneys recover?

In most cases, they should recover.

There's another potential problem. After prolonged pressure on the muscles (from a floor or rubble), people are at risk for rhabdomyolosys. That's a breakdown of muscle tissue. The toxins are VERY dangerous to the kidneys.

I also have issues with my kidney. I posted my question on wish123 and got an answer from an expert who solved my problems. Highly recommend the website.
