does this sound like i have kidney stones?ive had a lot of pain up and down my right and left sides for the past few days. my back hurts too. ive been nauseaus and have to urinate a lot and hav no appetite; i heard these r all symptoms of a kidney stone; is that true? ive alsohad 3 bouts of pancreatitis in the past year so i gues it could in theory be that. r there any other kidney stone symptoms i should look out for? does this evenn sound like kidney stones?

Symptoms of kidney stones include:
Localization of kidney stone pain
Colicky pain: "loin to groin". Often described as "the worst pain ever experienced". This can also occur in the lower back.
Nausea/vomiting: embryological link with intestine– stimulates the vomiting center.
Hematuria: blood in the urine, due to minor damage to inside wall of kidney, ureter and/or urethra.
Pyuria: pus in the urine.
Dysuria: burning on urination when passing stones (rare). More typical of infection.
Oliguria: reduced urinary volume caused by obstruction of the bladder or urethra by stone, or extremely rarely, simultaneous obstruction of both ureters by a stone.
Postrenal azotemia: the blockage of urine flow through a ureter.
Hydronephrosis: the distension and dilation of the renal pelvis and calyces.

There are some fast and easy signs to look out for.
1)Waves of a sharp pain that start in the side and go around the side to the back increasing until you can't take it any more.
2) Not able to sit comfortably. People with these stones pace the floor incessantly.
3)nausea and vomiting with ongoing side pain.
4) The frequency to urinate with blood in the urine.
If an infection is also present you'll have a fever and chills with painful urination and foul smelling urine too. Call your doctor asap if you notice these signs as they can also indicate other problems too much more serious. Good luck and God Bless
