do i need to see a cardiologist?

do i need to see a cardiologist?i am 34, i am a female overweight, with very low progesterone levels and hypertensive for almost 12 years ( not sure maybe earlier) but BP goes up and down dramatically in the past few months i mean it reached to 180/110 and i was given meds. to lower it down the med came great on the 1st day but something went wrong afterwards i became so sick that i felt i cant move after a mild effort that i even wanted to cry out of pain and fatigue i went so pale and heart beats were rapid but very weak and then developed skin rash lasted for 2 weeks later maybe more not sure the doc. changed the medicine but i didnt take it as my BP suddenly falls to 90/60 without medicine
heart rate is always to high never less than a 100, reaches without effort to 132
i have a family history of heart disease ( father died at 57 Heart Failure) and diabetes
No Kidney problems (checked) and I was diagnosed Pre-diabetic I had a fasting reading 140 (was Stressed) but levels went back to normal afterward.
NB When i was 18 i had stabbing pain in my chest after exerting some physical effort and because of the pain i had a bad cough (dry) for more than 2 weeks I dont know if this is related
I dont know now if i need to see a doc as i feel sick again but afraid to be only making it up for my self

You should check the function of your kidney (for microalbuminuria, serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen), heart (For left ventricular enlargement/hypertrophy) and retina (for hypertensive retinopathy).
Please note that in some cases, the cause of hypertension originates in the kidney.
Consult a cardiologist/ nephrologist.
