I am currently in the process of waiting for a kidney transplant so these are the tests you will probably have to do:

- ECG test
- Ultrasound
- Stress Test (to check how strong your heart is)
- Bloodwork will be done on yourself and the potential donor if you have one to check blood type

The closer the donor is realted to the patient the better- immediate family and younger is better as well.
