Do what your md says- and probably not eat much protein - of either kind- it can make them work harder- ask md about water intake too-D

You cannot eat meat that is processed, IE: sandwich meat or meat out of a can, or deli meat because, the kidney does not do well with processed meat protein. Nuts are high in potassium and so is soy, and too much potassium also weakens the kidney. Yoru best bet is chicken breast, Turkey, Beef straight from the butcher to you.
