allergic reaction to food- celiac sprue or celiac disease is an allergy to gluten, which is in wheat products, and that is lifelong.
cystic fibrosis, syphillis, pulmonary fibrosis, acute myeloid leukemia, slow progressing diffuse scleroderma (most generally fatal without successful intensive medical treatment such as transplant, chemotherapy, etc.)
