Kidney health?

Kidney health?

Congratulations for the baby.
You are very brave!
Keep it up. And I wish you best in life.My goodness you have been through a lot! Good for you, it must have been hard. I have not had this problem personally, but have seen women deal with it in working with pregnant women. It is very hard. It is very common for women with kidney problems to have extreme issues in pregnancy, as it is very hard on the kidneys. The complications you described are closely intertwined with kidney problems. Unfortunately, a person dear to me had this experience, but did not make it. You did, and you have your baby and are alive to be his Mommy. Thats a wonderful thing. Take very very very good care of yourself, and your baby. I wish you the best.I was born with one kidney, had high blood pressure for years, gave birth to 4 health children. And it was discovered that I had renal cell cancer which I had had for a considerable long time. I had surgery to remove the tumor and about 2 years later it was back. and I had an ablation. I have less the 2/3 of a kidney, but I have not experience a complete failure, I do drink plenty of water, have the blood pressure under control. and limit salt as much as possible . Your very young, and a diabetes diet would be a good kidney saving diet, also good for reducing cholesterol,- I know it's not an easy diet, cuts out a lot of the foods that people generally like most, but I'm 60 years old and I'm not ready to dig a grave yet, and you have only started your life. So, do some research, it's a lot easier to cope with if you have some tools to work with, hugs,
