Kidney Disease: Professional Boxers and Blood in Urine and Feces?

Professional Boxers and Blood in Urine and Feces?I have been given a case of a 18 year old professional boxer who was scheduled in a fight the day before he entered the hospital. He had a difficult fight but was declared he winner. The same night of the fight, he collapsed and was brought to the hospital. He has low blood pressure and appropriate weight for his build. He has been passing blood in his urine and feces. He was given an umber of blood test and immediately after was given two units of blood (approx 2 pints) and underwent surgery (unknown what the surgery was for). However, he has not shown any improvement and his blood results stay the same.

His blood level results were:
Glucose: normal (5.6mmol/L)
Sodium: low (115 mmol/L)
Potassium: high (6.0mmol/L)
Calcium: normal (2.5mmol/L)
Iron: normal (22mmol/L)
T3: normal (0.30mmol/L)
T4: normal (110 mmol/L)

We think he has some sort of kidney problem, such as kidney failure, disease, damage, etc. We do not understand how the kidney could possibly lead to blood in feces though. We think the kidney damage could be achieved through body shots, but are unsure.

Also another factor could be he boxer being dehydrated from cutting weight. He could have lost alot of sodium through sweating and had less water to control potassium levels.

The surgery we assume was for a kidney transplant but are unsure why he has not shown any sign of improvement.
