medical help about kidney damage,cat scan drinkable contrast?I have ad to have 5 cat scans in just a few weeks and now they want to do more.
Now they warn of kidney damage from the drinkable contrast any informationtion would be greatly appreciated.

Sweetie, I doubt they would be that worried about kidney damage if they want you to have this CT. With all the lawsuits out there they have to tell you about every possible complication that could result. The chances of getting that complication is slim.

Well, sometimes the risk is necessary. There must be a good reason for the repeated tests. of course you do have the option of refusing them -

There has to be a good reason for then to order 5 scans in a week. As far as the contrast goes,like the R.N. stated to you,they have to warn you of any side affects and I'm sure you will be fine. My 10y/o has had them done all her young life and i'd much rather have them done then risk something serious. Good luck!!
