Have you or anyone you know ever had a cat that died of PKD?If so, was it a quick, painless death, or did they suffer?

Yes, one of my Persians, may he rest in peace, died from PKD. It is a common kidney disease that is inherited. He was sick for a long time (about a year). We did everything we could for him. He was hooked up to an IV in the animal hospital for weeks but we eventually took him home. Eventually we had to put him to sleep because we couldn't bare to watch him suffer any longer.

ya i had a cat die of that...but not before his hole family died of it...so it was pretty slow a painfull
