I am a diabetic, My sugars been running in the lower 400s my kidneys are in stage 2.?I am 45. When I was 22 I had servere abdominal pain. I was in the hospital for surgery and after the surgery the doctors told me that my gallbladder and liver had swolen and were grown together so they surgically seperated them , leaving them inside of me. Years have past when about 5 years ago I had my gall bladder removed, the doctors could not do it without poening me up the traditional way and they worked on me for two hours. They told me they had a heckof a time getting it out. I have been having trouble in this area again, I have had diarea for almost two years and they presribed imodium and when I take that I aam stopped up for three tofour days, I bleed from this area like I am having my period. I have a problem eating because when I do it feel like it stops right bellow my ribs it looks like i am about 7 monthes pregnant above my stomach and it is hard.I have been complaing about this to my doctor sincr October, nothing. I have servere muscle spasms in my intestines, as well as my muscles in my upper arms and feet get charlie horses. Finally the doctor did blood work and ordered a cat scan. My bloodwork showed that I had a vitamin e defficiancy, and the cat scan showed fatty liver disease more details at next appt, Thursday.I am scared, Am I gonna die?

Seems that you have multiple morbidities working against you. The blood sugars of 400 and greater are not good for you. This increases your kidney damage. What was your last A1C? Adhere to your diet or let the doctor know that you have no intention of doing so and ask for better medication control of your diabetes.

Constipation sucks. So does diarrhea. You don't have to take a whole Immodium. Cut it in half and take only a 2mg dose. Drink plenty of water with it and in the 24 hours following it.

As a nurse, it sounds as if a lot of your issues are due to a poor diet. A long time of poor dieting. Cramping can be caused by potassium deficiency. Diarrhea and constipation can both be caused by poor diet. Fatty Liver Disease is often a result of a high fat diet with the fat depositing itself around the liver. A fatty liver can take up more space in your abdomen than is intended. This will cause eating food and expansion of the stomach prior to digestion to be uncomfortable. I hiatal hernia may also be present. Ask the doctor about that.

To answer the question, "Am I going to die?"...yes, you are. We are all born to die. How long you are allowed to walk the face of this earth depends on you and the good Lord.

Good luck with all your medical problems. If you do not want to die, start taking better care of yourself. Your doctor can only fix so much.
