Does This Sound Like Chronic Kidney Infection? Please Help.?For a little over a year now I've been experiencing horrible pains in my back on my right side, right around where my kidney is. I've been to several doctors, one a spinal surgeon because they thought my scoliosis was causing me pain. I've had CAT scans MRIs and a sonogram. I have a good sized cyst on my right ovary and for awhile doctors said that may be causing pain. I went to a gyno and she told me that there is no way that a cyst on my ovaries is causing me this much back pain. It hurts if I stand for more than 5 or 10 minutes and sometimes even while I'm sitting or lying down. When it hurts i get nauseous and hot and it often makes me vomit. It almost feels like a burning pain, like my kidneys are burning. I don't really have any problems urinating, sometimes it burns a little or a cant really feel like I can empty my bladder, but thats about it...nothing horrible. I have also notced that when I pee it smells different, like stronger or something. It is kind of an unpleasant smell Most days the pain in my back makes me cry it hurts so bad. I've taken muscle relaxers that do nothing for me and I've had blood and urine tests. In the blood test I had an elevated white blood cell count and in theurine test I had protein and red blood cells in one and red wnd white blood cells in another with no protein. I'm so tired of hurting I just want my life to go back to normal. I feel like I can't do anything anymore because I'm always in pain. I've given up sports, working out and even my P.E. class at school because anytime I try to do anything it hurts like crazy My doctor mentioned a chronic kidney infection, could this be it? She also mentioned kidney disease, but if I had that wouldn't it have showed up on the blood test?
I did have a very small kidney stone, but it was in my left kidney...on the opposite side of where the pain is. It is gone now though.

Has anyone mentioned "Kidney stones". I believe they are Hell.
Please see your doctor again if stones have not been given a mention.
