Does anyone have personal experience with the H1N1 vaccine?

Does anyone have personal experience with the H1N1 vaccine?Has anyone had the vaccine or your children had it? Did it harm you in any way? fever, sickness, etc?

I have some severe health problems (DM, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, kidney function issues), and I have the opportunity to have the injected vaccine. I am afraid to do it, but I am afraid not to do it. Has anyone had any personal experience with the vaccine?

Your personal experiences would really help me decide to have or not have it. I understand your opinions based on propaganda on both sides of the issue, but I am looking for real experiences not just opinions. I would just like to live through the epidemic and not die from the shot or the flu.
Thank you so very much.
If I did not have severe underlying medical conditions, I wouldn't even consider getting the vaccine due to the risk. But I'm on the fence about this.

I am in a priority group for the H1N1 vaccine (under age 64 with cardiovascular disease, including stent and pacemaker and history of heart attack), and I had the shot 4 days ago, with NO REACTION WHATEVER. I got it not just for me, but for my family members, a couple of whom cannot have any kind of flu shot but who are at high risk of complications from flu. I figure that anytime I have the chance to stay healthy and not spread germs to others, it is something I will do unless and until my physicians tell me otherwise. And by the way, there has been NO news here in Central Illinois about anybody having any adverse reactions at all to the vaccine. I wouldn't hesitate if I were you, but you might give your doctor's office a call if that would make you feel better.

Yes, I received the H1N1 vaccine a couple weeks ago when it first came out and I have not have any problems. However, I am perfectly healthy person. I say that if your doctor is recommending you get it then you should.
