Chronic kidney disease?I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (stage 3) in June last year. My doctor is keeping a check on me with regular blood tests etc. But over the last month I've had a real bad aching in my lower back and wondered if it could be anything to do with my problem. Does anyone know anything about chronic kidney disease?

I have had chronic kidney disease. I think the best site for info on it is from the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org. They have good message boards there.
I did not ever have lower back pain, so I can't tell you if that is connected to your disease or not. My problems were due to Type 1 diabetes.
