Good for you that you found out in the early stage that your cat has the disease.
I lost my 20 year old Calico to CRF (Chronic Renal Failure) a couple of years ago.
You and your Vet may have already educated yourself about feline kidney disease and Renal Failure, but here are a couple of sites with info:
