liver failure...?i was recently told i had liver failure about a week ago. I had all these symptoms that led to liver failure and when i got to the ER, the doctors said that i got help right on time or i would have more complications later on with my liver. I'm in the hospital right now and i was wondering how long it would take to stay in the hospital after finding out i have liver failure. I did ask my doctor and they said about 3 more weeks, i want to know why that long? and i'm 13 years old so i was wondering how will i get better or will i eventually need surgery, thats the thing i don't want.
Can anyone PLEASE help me......

Your doctors are the best ones to advise you. No one here knows your enzyme levels, or your overall physical condition.

I would trust the Docs..............It is no fun.............Hopefully they can fix you up..........
At least you can get a new one now.........people can give you half of theirs.....It grows back..........
Maybe it will be a lot less drastic.....
