how does diabetes cause chronic renal failure?and what can we do to decrease the possibility of having renal failure???

The excess sugar from poorly managed diabetes can cause the blood flow to be restricted to the kidneys, and also the heart, brain, and peripheral arteries (legs). When there is slowed blood flow to the kidneys, the kidneys can't work properly, and start to fail.
You can prevent CRF by preventing diabetes in the first place- diet and exercise. If you already have diabetes, maintaining a healthy lifestyle (diet and exercise) will help greatly. Managing your diabetes effectively with oral meds and insulin to keep your hemoglobin A1C as normal as possible is also key.

The excess sugar in a diabetics bloodstream, from poorly controlled blood sugar levels, causes damage to veins, arteries and capillaries. When rena failure occurs in diabetics it's from the damage to the capillaries in the kidneys, therefore the kidneys are no longer to able to work effectively and kidney failure develops.
The only way to prevent it for a diabetic is having good control of blood sugar levels. It's important to have urine tests even 1-2 years to take note of any major damage early and then gain greater control of your blood sugar levels to prolong renal failure (as there are no symptoms in the early stages).
