DO YOU THINK THIS COULD BE DIABETIES ASWELL OR JUST MY KIDNEY DISEASE ?!?hi :)
im 14 years old and in the middle of being diagnosed with some kind of kidney disease/problem... it is a metabolic disorder and it is a stone forming disease, i also have kidney calcification... i am taking aslot of painkillers, including parecetemol, buscopan and codine. i have heard that diabeties can cause kidney disease and have been having alot of strange symptoms recently.. here they are
: when i get even the slightest bit hungry i do all wobbely, like im going to fain and i go REALLY shaky and just feel wierd
:i get cold VERY easily
: ok this 1 is embarracing but i get alot of itching "down below" not nessecerily thrush,, but always itching !!
: my skin has been very sensative lately.
:i have kidney disease (obv)
:genery feeling unwell even when i am well ( although i havent been "well" for 2 months, with this problem of mine, and havent been to school since the end of october!
so does this sound like this COULD be diabeties ?! my family have no history of diabeties ,, but then again,, my family have no history of kidney disease
obv i am also getting an extream amount of pain due to the kidneys and not have a kidney infection again ( had one 2 weeks ago ) on top of all of it -_-

OHH. and recently i've been getting thirsty,, even though i already have to drink 2/3 lieters of pure water a day.

no, none of that sounds like diabetes. It's important to discuss all these issues with your nephrologist.

Doesn't sound like it. Besides, kidney disease could be a problem for people who don't control their diabetes properly, but it occurs after many years. The fact that you are 14 makes me think diabetes is not going on.

None of those are symptoms of diabetes except being really thirsty...and being really thirsty can be a symptom of a lot of things.
Kidney disease is a complication of diabetes. But like the answer above me said, it takes several years of having uncontrolled diabetes for that to occur.
