Is a kidney stone considered as a disease...........?

Is a kidney stone considered as a disease...........?I was asked in some medical exam I'd taken regarding my parents/siblings medical history, and one of the questions were something about urine disease, and I answered negatively.
My dad had kidney stones twice in the past, and I wonder if it counts as a disease?

Nope. A disease indicates an ongoing problem. Kidney stones are too unpredictable, even in people who have them more than once, to be considered a regular, ongoing condition.

I wouldn't say that constitutes a family history of urinary disease, no. You might mention it to your doctor, just to be safe.

No. Kidney stones are usually caused by environmental factors--not enough water, too much calcium, etc. If more than just your father had a history of chronic kidney stones then it would be considered a family history, but if only your dad has had them, then it is not family history.

Generally its not considered a disease. Generally speaking, something which is a disease is chronic in some respect and usually long term.
