hi kevin, i am a crohn's pt. for 28 yrs. The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation has a site with updated information that may help you. There is also a live chat and hotline run by healthcare professionals..give them a call plus a forum where you can post questions to others who have IBD.
Also, there are local CCFA support meetings and educational meetings you can attend. Some of the speakers are doctors, drug reps, insurance reps, dieticians,etc. Feel free to attend them as pts. and doctors can offer insight to your project. Check on the CCFA site to locate one near you.
