those two are related because kidney releases the hormone called renin, and that controls water reabsorbtion cascade in the body. more water=more blood=high blood pressure. think of turning on the water focets all the way and see what happens at the end. the water will come out with more pressure, right? the same thing happens in the body. kidney regulates how much water to reabsorb vs excrete via urine.
