what is a sudo tumor?

what is a sudo tumor?my 6 year old son had his first complex partial seizure, he was also born with bi-lateral multicystic dysplastic kidney disease. He may have papilledema, after his 1 and a half hour seizure he had a CT scan,EEG, and MRI , all which came back negative. his optomitrist told me to ask about a sudo tumor.

I do not know, but could he have meant "pseudo tumor", which roughly would have meant a false one, or a growth appearing to be a tumour but lacking in some of the main defining characteristics?

You could look up the word or prefix "pseudo" in a dictionary.
e.g. as "pseudonym" is to "name"

I hope it helps.

pseudo-tumor cerebri means a condition where it gives signs of brain tumor but indeed there is no brain tumor
what happenes the PRESURE inside the brain(specifically inside brain ventricle-cavities)INCREASES due to increase production or decrease absorption of the cerebro-spinal fluid CSF.
Indeed ct scan & MRI MAY be able to show the enlarged ventricles but if not then measuring the CSF pressuer via a Lumber Puncture will show the ELEVATED pressure.
if this is the case, then he MUST be treated with a "shunt" procedure, the shunt will direct the fluid away from the brain towar the blood circulation,
please check with a good NEUROLOGIST.
I wish your son will get well soon,GOD bless him.
